Buffer
A buffer is used to store data temporarily during a data transfer from a slower transfer rate computer to one with a faster transfer rate.
DRAM (Dynamic Random Access Memory)
DRAM is a memory component requiring periodic recharging.
Driver
Drivers are software that arrives in conjunction with a peripheral. These drivers connect the communication between the peripheral and a laptop.
Ethernet
A LAN which differing nodes are connected together through a coaxial cable is known as Ethernet.
LAN (Local Area Network)
A group of computing devices and peripherals, which are all inter-linked, is known as a local area network or LAN.
Pixel
An individual pixel dot, either in rectangular or square shape, is the most minute element given to independent color and intensity shown on a laptop monitor.
Resolution
Resolution is the term of picture clarity dependant on the number of pixels found creating a picture or image.
